This beautiful new home comes complete with a backyard pool and is surrounded by nearby vineyards.
The project is the result of an extensive remodel where the entire home was recreated into a more contemporary and open living space.
Kristina Wolf Design met the owners when they first purchased the original home. They were looking for recommendations on paint.
When the owners decided they were ready for a full-on remodel for the home, they hired the design team to make every important selection.
The team decided on a game plan to transform the home. Their goal was to craft living spaces that felt contemporary and stylish but without sacrificing comfort and utility.
The designers wanted to ensure that the home felt welcoming to the owners and to guests, offering a relaxing space to soak in the amazing views of the surrounding landscape.
In an effort to provide the utmost in panoramic views, walls and windows were replaced on the rear of the home with wider openings and larger windows. This completely changed the look and feel of the home, and expanded the views available.
The resulting home is a stunning example of balanced design, with a fashionable appearance and lived-in, comfortable feeling. Top quality materials appear throughout the home, from the flooring and furniture on up.

The dining room centers on a unique rustic industrial hybrid table, with black steel frame and aged wood tabletop. This look contrasts with the elegant dark hardwood flooring and nailhead trim leather seating that surrounds the table.
Along the wall, we see a gorgeous natural wood dresser adding another burst of warm tones in the neutral hued room. A pair of floral-design chandeliers hang over the table in subtle grace.
The kitchen centers on a massive dark wood island with white marble countertop, featuring a built-in fridge and plenty of space for barstool dining. A subway tile backsplash adds a bit of contrast to the white cabinetry.
Stainless steel appliances add a bit of glossy contrast to the space, as do warm wood barstool seats. The open-plan design means that the kitchen shares a set of walls with an informal dining space and the large living room, seen at left.
The living room is defined by a large plush leather sectional, wrapping a space that includes a pair of thick cushioned bench ottomans and a massive industrial coffee table with natural wood top. A stone wrapped fireplace at left anchors the room.
The entrance foyer continues the deep hardwood flooring and boasts a pair of industrial style wood and steel bookshelves at left. The stairs feature a black metal railing for a light industrial touch.
The primary bedroom centers on a large platform bed frame with a matching white button tufted headboard. The bed is flanked by a pair of rustic wood side tables that are cut in a more modern fashion.
The primary bedroom connects to the bathroom by way of an open closet space flush with storage options along the right wall. White cabinetry and drawers reach from floor to ceiling for the ultimate in discreet storage.
The bathroom boasts a breathtaking stone tile backsplash over the white countertop vanity, with black and white tile flooring below. More of the deep rustic wood tones appear on the drawers and cupboard doors in here.
Here’s a close look at the sleek white marble countertop and the intricately textured tile backsplash. Subtle details like this add an extra layer of luxury to the home.
A secondary bathroom plays up the rustic, playful side of the home design, with a barrel designed vanity floating on the wall. This unique element makes for an elegant but surprising functionality.
Above the vanity and slim tile backsplash, the mirror is framed in a natural bark-like texture, further teasing out the rustic feeling of the room.
