7,791 sq ft mansion (5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms) on six private acres overlooking gorgeous golf course available for $10 million… those are the specs for the luxurious mansion celebrity singer-songwriter Paul Anka is selling.
I’ll come out and say it. The home’s exterior design and grounds are far nicer than the interior. Check out both below and you’ll see what I mean.
The Canadian-born, multi-talented singer-songwriter Paul Anka, with a reported $80 million net worth, known for numerous hit singles like “Diana” and “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” resides in a magnificent French-inspired mansion in the prestigious Sherwood Country Club. He recently listed this exquisite property for a whopping $10 million.
Spread over nearly six acres, the estate provides stunning views of the golf clubhouse and surrounding mountains. Its beautifully landscaped grounds boast a breathtaking infinity pool, a glass-walled freestanding gym, and an outdoor shower. The fully gated home offers a long driveway leading to a private motor court, ensuring utmost privacy.
This property is well-suited for celebrities because of the privacy. The house is set way back from the road behind an impressive gate.
As you can see, most of the six acres is in front of the house which is kind of cool if you value privacy.
I love this exterior. Very European. Symmetrical. Ornate but not overly so. IMO, the exterior and grounds are much nicer than the interior.
Upon entering the mansion, you’ll notice elegant stone floors, high ceilings, designer light fixtures, and marble accents that create an air of luxury. An entertainer’s dream, you’ll find a high-quality recording studio, a mirrored billiard room, and a chef’s kitchen within the house. The collapsible doors allow you to move seamlessly between the indoor living and dining areas and the spacious patios, perfect for entertaining guests.
My biggest beef with this home’s interior is the tile or slate flooring. I know it’s hot in SoCal but I really don’t care for this type of flooring. The orange is fun and looks great. The furniture is definitely cool. Gold records on the wall? Love it. But that floor has to go. Imagine the above room with hardwood flooring. So much better.
The above is a great “bonus” room. I say bonus room because it’s the third living room-style space. I particularly love the u-shaped chesterfield sectional. It’s an absolute beauty.
The kitchen is a bit closed-in for my liking. While the custom cabinetry is luxurious, it’s too closed off from the rest of the house.
The home office and recording studio is epic. I love this room. I imagine this is where Paul spent a great deal of time.
Inside the lavish primary suite, there’s a cozy fireplace, an exquisite en suite bathroom, and a dressing room. With 7,791 square feet of living space, the two-story home offers a total of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, epitomizing a lifestyle of grandeur and elegance.
6 acres is a big property in SoCal. Paul’s includes a large infinity pool with amazing views. Check out the property:
Thousand Oaks is an upscale area in SoCal. As you can see, Paul’s backyard view is of a swanky country club golf course and other mansions.
