The three home design steps with our software…
STEP 1 – Initiating the 2D Floor Plan: The adventure begins with the creation of a 2D floor plan. Home Stratosphere’s interface allows designers to draft the home’s footprint, defining the walls, doors, and windows to shape the initial concept. Our L-shaped home started with a sketch, detailing room dimensions and the layout that best captures the desired flow and functionality.
STEP 2 – Adding Furniture and Accessories: Once the basic floor plan is in place, the software provides tools to furnish the home. Designers can select from an extensive catalog of furniture and accessories, dragging and dropping pieces into rooms. The placement of furniture in our L-shaped home was done with an eye on maximizing space, creating comfortable living areas, and ensuring a natural traffic flow.
STEP 3 – Material and Finish Selection: Here, designers can choose from various materials and finishes for floors, walls, and ceilings. The software allows for experimentation with textures and colors, providing a realistic preview of how different elements will come together. The interior of our L-shaped home was envisioned with a palette that reflects warmth and modernity, with wood finishes for a touch of elegance.
STEP 4 – Elevating to 3D Rendering: The final and most thrilling step is transforming the 2D blueprint into a 3D model. Home Stratosphere software offers powerful rendering capabilities that bring the design to life, offering a virtual walkthrough experience. The 3D model of our home reveals the grandeur of the high ceilings, the inviting nature of the living spaces, and the interplay of light and shadow, providing a near-tangible sense of the final product.
STEP 5 – Adjustments and Refinements: The design process is iterative. With 3D rendering, designers can spot aspects that need tweaking, be it the scale of furniture, the lighting, or the materials used. Adjustments are made until every corner of the home resonates with the vision of the homeowner.
