I get a kick out of futuristic designs, especially houses. Here’s a collection of some wild futuristic yellow and charcoal gray houses in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The following are conceptual renderings. These are not real houses. I just happen to like playing around with different house design concepts including futuristic concepts even if not necessarily architecturally possible.
1. Traditional Meets the Future
I’m kicking off this wild collection of concept houses with an example that’s not terribly futuristic and is a house one could find in a new higher-end neighorhood. This home has a traditional brick exterior made exciting with yellow and dark gray. Towering windows dominate the front facade.
2. Single-Story Futuristic House
This is the only single-story furturistic house which is mostly yellow with dark gray outlines. The windows are interesting as they showcase interior tree showcases which isn’t really practical since the windows wouldn’t emit much light into the main part of the house.
3. Two Separate Garage Bays
Here’s another example that incorporates traditional red brick. It’s an interesting design with two separate garages which is probably not the most practical design but it offers interesting curb appeal.
4. The Futuristic Tower House
Now we venture into the wild and probably impossible with this towering rounded shaped futuristic house. Such a design would no-doubt be a fascinating interior but the stair-climbing would get old very quickly.
5. Three-Story Behemoth House of the Future
Here’s another house you could find today. It’s definitely modern in design but it’s not an unrealistic design. I have to admit that the yellow and charcoal gray house exterior works amazingly well.
6. The Space Ship
Okay, this is a very strange design. It’s definitely not my style but it’s an interesting take on the future of home design.
7. A Modern House of Today LEGO Style
LEGO comes to mind when I look at this design. It’s a series of large block-like sections stacked onto each other create a mammath three-story futuristic home.
8. Wild Geo-Design Future House in Yellow and Gray
Batman’s house comes to mind here. I know Batman lived in some gothic mansion but this resembles the Bat-mobile in sleek, curved design.
9. The Shield Design
With one side flaring up this house reminds me of a huge shield. In this example yellow serves as an accent instead of the dominant color.
10. A Futuristic Chalet Design in Gray and Yellow
With a large gabled roof section and stonework, this house is what I call a futuristic ski chalet. This house would totally fit in some swanky ski resort neighborhood.
11. The Futuristic Modular Style House
Here’s a modular-futuristic house with sections seemingly bolted together to create a large futuristic house.
12. The Triangle House
Verging onto the bizarre is this triangle-themed design. The division of dark gray and yellow looks fantastic IMO.
13. The Arrowhead House of the Future
This home is an arrowhead design which kinda works although this is not a house design you’d readily find anywhere.
14. The Futuristic Dome House with Gray and Yellow Exterior
I had to include one dome-style design in this gallery showcasing futuristic houses. It’s actually not a terribly large home. I don’t like dome-houses at all but it had to be included.
15. The Wasp House
When I look at this behemoth it reminds me of a wasp’s face or head. It definitely has a sinister look to it which appeals to some (not most).
16. The Futuristic Mansion in Yellow and Gray
This is my favorite futuristic yellow and gray house. It happens to be the biggest design as well (I have a penchant for mansions even if I don’t live in one). While not a mega-mansion, this is definitely a futuristic mansion. Surp
