Erika Girardi, known professionally as Erika Jayne, was born Erika Chahoy in Atlanta, Georgia on July 10, 1971. Since her parents divorced when she was just one year old, she was raised by her single mom, Renee Chahoy and graduated from North Atlanta High School. She headed to New York City at the age of 18 to chase her dreams and is now an American singer, television personality, and actress.
Erika Jayne’s first two appearances on television include non-speaking roles in two episodes of the hit NBC TV series, Law & Order. She was also cast in roles in two independent films, including Alchemy in 1995 and Lowball in 1996. As a singer, her first single released was called, “Roller Coaster,” which made it to number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
In 2015, Erika Jayne landed a role in the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which was in its sixth season at that time, and she is still working in that role.
Although Erika Jayne has had success in her career, her love life has been a different story. She was married to Thomas Zizzo and the couple has a son, Thomas Zizzo Jr., but they divorced not long before she met her latest husband, Thomas Girardi in 1998. She married him in 2000 but the couple announced their separation in 2020.
She and Thomas Girardi are part of a lawsuit and are accused of embezzling money that had been meant for families of the victims of the 2018 fatal Lion Air plane crash. A documentary about the couple and their legal issues called The Housewife and the Hustler has been released on Hulu. Erika Jayne has accused her ex-husband of infidelity and cited that as the reason for their divorce.
Due to the divorce and legal issues, Erika Jayne and Girardi have put their 10,277 square foot mansion, located in Pasadena, California, on the market for $13 million. The gorgeous estate features four bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a huge wine cellar, an amazing library, and a master bedroom that boasts separate dressing rooms.
With floor-to-ceiling glass doors, the home allows for amazing views and the walnut-paneled walls, wide corridors, high coffered ceilings, and large fireplaces make it a warm and inviting home for peaceful living as well as for entertaining friends and family.
Silk wall coverings adorn the walls throughout the beautifully landscaped home and the outdoor spaces include an in-ground pool and hot tub as well as fountains, outdoor chandeliers, and several gardens. The outdoor dining area provides yet another great space for entertaining on the grounds of this amazing mansion.
This historical mansion is located on two luscious acres of land at the gateway to Pasadena between the Arroyo Seco and Annandale Golf Club and is listed for sale at $13 million by real estate agents Ted Clark and Heather Lillard of Compass of Beverly Hills, California.
