Welcome to our gallery featuring the richly detailed home design work of Andrea Schumacher Interiors.
The unique styling within this home offers a surfeit of texture, tone, and detail to focus on, often juggled within the same space. There’s abundant variety of visuals across the stylistic spectrum while passing from room to room, yet the overall scheme is unified.
The home manages to balance a timeless look, offering glimpses of both modern and traditional touches often within the same visual space. Entering into a grand foyer, the soaring ceiling hangs above a catwalk-style upper hall and curved staircase, before the home gives way to a cozy living room and formal dining room setting.
A grand family room holds its own “wing” of the home, wrapped on three sides by large windows, allowing for tons of natural light and expansive views. Also overlooking the large backyard is a family dining area, part of a larger open-plan space including the kitchen.
We hope you enjoy the idiosyncratic and highly personalized attention to detail that’s apparent throughout this home design. It takes a real eye for detail and sense of style to pull off the bold mixture of tones within this singular home.

The central living room space is absolutely bursting with color and texture, centered around a black marble fireplace with white mantle. A beige area rug sits atop dark hardwood flooring, with a glass and gold table at center and artwork surrounding.
The dining room overlooks the living room, with a wide opening flanked by hardwood pillars. The massive circular table seats ten, contrasting with the bold red wall tones and opulent detail throughout the space.
Moving into the large family room, we see a soaring vaulted ceiling with rich natural wood exposed beams hanging above a naturally sunlit space, courtesy of full height windows wrapping the room. A large L-shaped sectional dominates, with a stone fireplace in the background and white accent chairs flanking.
The grand foyer is overlooked by a catwalk-style upper hall, with curved staircase leading down to dark hardwood flooring. The bright walls allow details like the painted art shelf to really stand out.
Next to the kitchen, we have a more intimate family dining space, a circular room surrounded by full height windows for an expansive garden view. The large traditional wood circular table stands beneath an old fashioned chandelier.
The kitchen itself is a massive open-plan design, with sleek countertops and exposed overhead beams defining the cooking area. An array of white bar stools sits at the close countertop, allowing for ample dining space.
Moving back, we see the vaulted ceiling helping to define the dining area, as well as the expansive dark hardwood flooring stretching to the far stair. White cabinetry and walls really open up the space.
The kitchen centers on this massive island, featuring hardwood countertop and built-in sink and range. The surrounding countertops are in dark granite.
Turning to the left, we see more of the detailed cupboard doors and drawers, with simple but elegant hardware, as well as the large cove built into the wall for the stainless steel range, at left.
One of the bathrooms features a pair of painted horn sconces flanking a bell-shaped mirror. Marble vanity stands in contrast with slate grey walls.
The back yard is an oasis of large stones, moving water features, and a large swimming pool at right. The partially sheltered patio holds abundant space for dining and relaxing furniture.
The water feature includes a full koi pond, seen here with natural lilies floating.
Viewing the home itself from the koi pond, we see across the expansive green lawn. A large upper balcony shelters the ground level patio.
Here we have a close view of the patio edge, with surrounding water feature. Careful placement of large stones makes for an ideal garden pond.
