This luxurious ceiling has gorgeous Parisian details. You’ll feel like you’re on the French Riviera in this dining room that overlooks the sea. Decorative columns hold up the intricate ceiling that has a lovely chandelier hanging above the traditional wood dining table. The beautiful herringbone floors and vintage rug add texture to the design, and the voluminous drapes add just the right amount of drama.
2. Zen Wood-Paneled Ceiling
This gorgeous zen-inspired wood beam ceiling creates a cozy cocoon feel in this modern dining room. The panels continued down onto the doors of the dining room. 3. Infinity Stripe Ceiling
I love how the green and white stripe ceiling continues down the walls and onto the drapes and lumbar pillows. This is such a fun and inspiring room design with the bold green patio furniture and vintage glass pendant lights. The brick flooring contrasts well against the metal sofas and coffee table and brings in a natural element to the space.
4. Geometric Designed Ceiling
This geometric designed ceiling adds interest and height to the room carrying your eyes upward. It works well with the monochromatic color palette of the room and compliments the vintage rug and patterned armchair and ottoman. The vintage rug grounds the room and the drapes create additional height which makes the space feel more grand.
5. Galaxy-Inspired Ceiling
This circled light drop ceiling is really making a statement in this eclectic hotel room. There are mini recessed lights and a gorgeous chandelier installed in the center to create an almost galaxy-like vibe. It’s a very eclectic design with color-block seating and yellow walls.
6. Farmhouse Beam Ceiling
This white ceiling with a rustic wood grid ceiling creates a cozy and homy feel. A black cage pendant light hangs over the dark wood dining table with a beige patterned rug to warm up the space. I love that there is so much light streaming through the wood framed french doors, really just lights up the entire design.
7. Traditional Coffered Ceiling
A gorgeous bright living space with traditional coffered ceiling and bead board walls. The white walls and ceiling nicely contrast with the rich dark wood flooring and black and white stripe rug. The slipcovered sofas and neutral color palette allow for your eye to wander out the french doors to the beautiful water front. Lots of ambient lighting like the wall sconces and floor lamps, make this a light and bright space for relaxing.
8. Dazzling Gilded-Star Ceiling
This dazzling tray ceiling is wallpapered with a blue and gold gilded leaf pattern and has a gilded starburst mirror centered in the middle. It is outlined by a white decorative moulding and the remaining ceiling and walls are painted in a soft blue tone. The elegant furniture and decorative screens add to the sophisticated design. I love the abstract art above the fireplace and those unique light sconces that look like coral from the ocean.
9. Modern Wood Ceiling
This relaxed modern living room has a sleek wood beam ceiling with recessed lighting installed throughout. The room next to the living room has a flat wood beam ceiling which adds layers to this space. I love the black grid wall to the left and the living wall filled with plants. The art is incredible and interesting and works well with the modern sectional and swivel chair. You get a feeling of indoor-outdoor living in this spacious room with all the natural light and greenery coming through.
10. Moroccan-Influenced Ceiling
This gorgeous dining room has a lovely white Moroccan-inspired ceiling with detailed moulding that surrounds the gorgeous chandelier. Additional recessed lighting placed outside the design creates a soft ambient feel. The stunning antique table and side chairs pair beautifully with the white slipcovered end chairs and white walls. My favorite piece in the room is the large gilded mirror which reflects the opposite side and makes the room appear larger.
11. Vaulted Beam Ceiling
There is an abundance of natural light flowing in through the panoramic windows in this bright house. A gorgeous wood beam vaulted ceiling covers the dining and living space. A light and airy sectional sofa and jute rug pair well with the white flooring and gray and white drapes for the indoor outdoor living.
12. Contemporary Light-Inspired Ceiling
This is a very spacious and modern living room with a flat white ceiling fitted with linear recessed lights, which almost feels like an art installation. Medium hardwood floors separate the living room from the rest of the tiled flooring of the home. Modern leather furniture and built-in cabinets along the wall are paired with large lantern pendant and floor lights.
13. Acoustic-Style Wood Ceiling
This is an unusual but amazing acoustic-style wood beam ceiling which sort of curves along the line of the windows. Arched french doors lead you out to the balcony with a spectacular mountain view. Traditional style furniture and a desk paired with a long wall of floating shelves that houses many books. The light peach tone walls really compliment the darker peach drapes along the window wall.
14. Grid-Style Wood Ceiling
I absolutely love this grid-style wood ceiling, which is reminiscent of a greek key pattern. The dark wood of the ceiling compliments the white walls and neutral palette of the sofas and rug. Gorgeous black chest of drawers flank both sides of the doorway and classic slope chairs provide additional seating. You can see the side view of the intricate Italian style stone fireplace and marble hearth.
15. Classic Tray Ceiling
This modern contemporary designed living space has a classic tray ceiling in the living and dining room. There is a beautiful crystal chandelier in the center and the outside of the tray is lined with recessed lighting. Neutral modular sectional and matching ottomans create the main seating area and a high gloss black and white coffee table takes center stage. I like the beige and white stripe TV wall, it adds interested and depth to the design.
16. Opulent Renaissance Ceiling
This cathedral-style dome ceiling is hand painted with a mural of gorgeous goddesses which extend to the columns for a very cohesive finish. The opulent chandelier takes center stage and hangs inside an intricate medallion made of gold and steel. I would love to have seen the rest of this room design and the furniture chosen to pair with such a stunning ceiling.
17. Intricate Tray Ceiling
This foyer features a white ceiling with intricate detailing which is surrounded by lovely crown moulding. A beautiful crystal chandelier hangs from the center medallion and pairs well with the brass mirrors hung throughout. The entryway runner and staircase runner rugs, along with the wood clock, add some warmth to the all white interior walls and ceiling.
18. Cathedral Ceiling
This cozy living room features a wood beam cathedral ceiling which extends down to the walls. You can see a skylight peaks through the top point, that allows natural light to seep in to this vast space. There is a cozy window seat with a nice cushion and pillow, that is next to the large angled fireplace wrapped in stone. I love the wood awnings that are installed above the doorways, it is a nice architectural feature of the home.
18. Classic Coffered Ceiling
This living room has a classic white coffered ceiling that pairs well with the white wainscot walls and columns. There is a distressed round coffee table which compliments the more traditional-style velvet curved sofa. A dark wood fireplace sits across from the seating area. If you lived here, you probably couldn’t help but spend your days gazing out into the ocean view, through those large picture windows behind the sofa.
19. Striking Sloped Ceiling
This uniquely sloped tray ceiling has a brass chandelier hanging from the center and you can see there is some hidden recessed lighting under the tray moulding. The ceiling compliments the elegant design of the room with damask wallpaper and mirrored walls. Rich brown tones and beige colors creates a soothing palette that works well with the high-gloss tile floor and wood walls.
20. Detailed Arched Ceiling
You can see the incredible craftsmanship that was put into the details of this wood coved ceiling. Small punched holes create a pattern that allows the white of ceiling to seep through and large wood cross beams add a layer of depth. The wood built-ins and cabinet are the focal point of this room and pair nicely with the black and white furniture and rug. I don’t think I would have chosen pink as an accent color, maybe a soothing olive green or ochre would pair better.

21. Gilded High-Gloss Ceiling
You really don’t know where to look first in this incredibly decorated space. The high-gloss blue painted room is like a cozy jewel box complete with a gilded gold metal ceiling. I love the wall-to-wall greek patterned carpet and the custom blue velvet sofa, it all just flows seamlessly together. The built-in shelving and desk area add function to this gorgeous space.

22. Modern Circle Ceiling
You feel like you have traveled to outer-space in this unique bedroom with circled lights which are carved into the ceiling. Light wood paneled walls on the bed wall, add incredible texture to the room. The black-out drapes on the window, allow you to block out the light for a great nights sleep. I think the best feature of the room, by far, is the modern rolled-leather headboard paired with the floating nightstands and the beautiful matching lamps.
23. Wood Tray Ceiling
This eat-in kitchen features a solid wood tray ceiling with recessed lighting on the left side only. It blends well with the wood cabinetry in the kitchen and the wood dining table. There is a lovely linear pendant that hangs over the island part in kitchen which offers ambient lighting. You can see they continued the same wood tray ceiling into the living room, and it really creates a cohesive feel throughout the space.
24. Brilliant Groin Vault Ceiling
This grand kitchen features a groin vault ceiling designed with floral murals and spiral trimmings. There is dark wood cabinetry throughout the kitchen and black countertops, which contrast well off the lighter walls and flooring. The decorative columns flanking the island and the custom range hood, pair well with the decorative ceiling above. An elegant globe pendant light hangs over the island and adds a nice decorative detail to complete the design.
