The contemporary architecture of Casa Praia do Rosa contrasts with the tropical-inspired interior design and natural pool.
Casa Praia do Rosa: it’s time to show you our first beach house! Mine (Cadu Mayresse) and my wife’s! As you well know, “at a blacksmith’s house, stick stick”: our house took a while to be prioritized and officially come out of the picture. Now it’s time to show it to you!
The dream: contemporary architecture in our house in Praia do Rosa, one-story, minimalist and compact, on the beach that marked our relationship and all the history we built 14 years ago. The project, to accommodate the two of us, our daughters (pets!) and the closest family, was distributed in two cube-shaped volumes, with different ceiling heights.
In the white volume, marked by the large glass panel that naturally illuminates the entire social area, a wooden slatted door gives access to the living room, which connects with the kitchen, external balconies and the pool area. After all, full integration of these environments must exist in our home!
In the lateral volume, which will be closed in wooden slats, the suites and the toilet are distributed. All with openings to an intimate garden that will give privacy to the rooms. On the left side of the white volume, the integrated storage and laundry room are accessed through the kitchen and the side garden, properly “hidden” in the large white volume.
