Welcome to our gallery featuring the luxurious Enchanted Village Tree House built by Blue Forest for the prestigious Alton Towers Resort.
The beautiful tree house is located in Staffordshire, UK, and is one of 5 luxury tree houses built for the Enchanted Village at Alton Towers.
The goal of the Enchanted Village is to inspire fun, play, and adventure, so the tree house is accessible by decked footpaths and rope bridges.
Each tree house sleeps up to eight people, and includes a large, open plan living space, family and en-suite bathrooms, children’s bunk rooms, and even sleeping lofts.
Whimsy is a main part of the design, and each of the tree houses features secret passageways through bookcase doors, turreted towers, and sparkling fairy lights.
As the resort is located in a wooded landscape, the village had to be built to fit into the beauty and mystique of the area.
While the treehouse includes a kitchen and guests can be self-sufficient, the village of tree houses includes a unique restaurant, the Crooked Spoon, a toadstool trail for hiking, a magical children’s playground, and a high-ropes course.
Perhaps the best thing about these lovely tree houses are that they are designed specially to nestle into the existing environment with little impact. Each treehouse is designed and built using environmentally friendly materials and construction techniques.
When you explore one of these tree houses, you may feel as though you’ve entered a new land filled with magic and adventure; perfect for a vacation.
We hope you’ll be inspired to visit one of these beautiful, luxurious tree house resort accommodations on your next family vacation!
Architecture by Jerry Tate Architects
This interior shot shows the spacious interior living space of the tree house, featuring a kitchenette, dining area, and a sectional sofa. Exposed beams and intricate carvings throughout enhance the atmosphere.
Rope bridges lead to and from many of the tree houses, and are sturdy enough for kids to go all out on!
Another interior room featuring a unique set of windows, carvings, and an activity area perfect for the kids. Just look at the detail on the staircase.
Each tree house features a private deck and patio area with a large hot tub with plenty of space for the whole family–up to 4 adults and 4 kids!
The architecture is evident even from the outside, featuring an arched roof and carved wooden railings.
The carvings seen on the stairs and throughout the house are seen again in the children’s bunk room, as well as the green and purple plaid window coverings.
A spiral staircase leads back down to the main living area, where we can see the door to the bathroom and a large television.
From outside, we can see the other tree houses and lodges in the Enchanted Village.
