Alanis Morisette exploded to music fame with her Jagged Little Pill which sold a staggering 16 million albums. Her total albums sold, including singles amounts to over 60 million, which explains her ability to own such a nice house.
But get this, Alanis bought this house for “only” $1.795 million in 1996. Not only is she making bank with music, but she made as much money off this one house as many people earn in a lifetime.
This home is built in the Mediterranean style, which is somewhat common in the warm climate in SoCal. While a bit dated (it was built in 1951 but has clearly undergone a renovation), the home has a really cool “hall” like main space akin to a castle. I also like the grounds with sport court and pool (my kids would love these features).
Another notable feature about the interior of this home are the huge rooms. This home on the inside definitely looks bigger than 5,125 sq. ft. especially since it as a whopping 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Seriously, check out the rooms below; they’re really large. It gives you a sense about just how large mega mansions with 20,000 sq. ft. are.
