Schrager got this three-bedroom condo in 2002 when it was still undergoing construction. He bought it for his ex-wife and their children. During that time, this glassy tower building was offered to deep-pocketed celebrities like Calvin Klein, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Jean-Georges Vongerichten to own a floor each and the adjustment building it.
It has five bathrooms, an open kitchen with a balcony, a great room made of glass walls that curve to the home’s den. It also has a primary bedroom containing a large walk-in closet, a dressing room, and a primary bathroom.
The magnificent sun-filled apartments were coveted for ample space, glass walls, and state-of-the-art gym and room service.
According to the New York Daily News, Schrager put this property on sale for an initial $ 11 million three years ago. But, after a catastrophic year that affected property sales all over, Manhattan real estate has slashed the price to $ 9.95 million. Ian Schrager was born on July 19, 1946. He is an American entrepreneur, real estate developer, and hotelier. He mainly engages in co-creating of boutique hotels.
Schrager gained fame when he co-founded and core-owned Studio 54. He grew up in a Jewish family that resided in New York City. He went to college at Syracuse University, graduated with a BA, and later earned a JD at St. Johns University School of Law in 1971.
After the successful acquisition of Studio 54, which became a hit and an eye-opener for them, they decided to invest in the hospitality industry and opened several other hotels within the city.
