Her career was not limited to just a few avenues of the film — she was a star in many American and British films and television series, even before her role on Dynasty. Almost equal in fame to her career is her charitable work. She became vocal in the 1980s about a number of issues, ranging from children’s learning disabilities to neurological research. She has also fostered several children overseas over the last 35 years.
She purchased her Manhattan apartment in 2002 and has lived there on and off ever since.
