Welcome to a gallery featuring another fantastic home interior design by Garrison Hullinger Interior Design.
This fantastic beach house is designed to not only be a great space during the sunny days, but to also provide a charming refuge during the more tumultuous weather of the Northwest. The home’s interior is inspired by nature, with a soft color palette interrupted by welcome splashes of color.
Like all Garrison Hullinger Homes, the warmth, style and beauty of this home astounds!
The bits of bold color enhance the warm tones of the wooden furniture and neutral color palette.
Keep an eye out for the home’s fantastic details, which include dark bamboo flooring that easily hide bits of dirt tracked in by a busy family, a fireplace with smooth, sophisticated porcelain tile and hand-sanded plaster, and other natural materials.
Special touches such as picture frames, mirrors, lamps, and specialty furniture all come together to make this project a fluid, beautiful home that families of any size would be comfortable in and proud to call home.
Pay special attention to unusual coffee tables, end tables and other accents. The attention to detail is inspiring, and shows how seamlessly one can blend modern with more traditional elements.
We hope you’ll be inspired by this beautiful contemporary weekend retreat by Garrison Hullinger Interior Design!

The cheery entrance way is characteristic of a ranch, opening into the living room. The beautiful tone of the dark bamboo flooring pulls color out of each piece of furniture in the room. A large, seamless window to the left of the door lets in ample natural light.
A close up of the table in the entryway, a very casual table with beach accents like shells covering it. To the right is an old lantern. On the wall above is a mirror in a wreath of branches.
The wood-burning fireplace hearth is in beautiful, subtle porcelain tile, with hand-sanded plaster above. Watercolor paintings and throw pillows add bold color to the neutral palette. The multiple side tables are wicker and solid dark wood.

The open-concept dining room and kitchen are in a bold blue-green. The dining set is wood with transparent chairs. The kitchen is in a light beige tile with a white backsplash.
A lower counter between the dining room and the kitchen acts as both a study area and a breakfast counter.
A beautiful bedroom with a wooden accent wall behind the bed and a mixture of textures in the bedding. Four photographs above the bed add length to the bed.
One of the bathrooms in the home has a dark vanity with a single sink basin and a glass shower stall.
A second bedroom with a velour upholstered bed frame and green bedding. A small wooden chair sits near the foot of the bed.
Down a set of stairs is the family room, with a small circular table with white bucket chairs and a layered wood half-wall.
The downstairs sectional has a round oak coffee table on a plush orange-red area rug.
